Against Limiting Yard Sales
Letter to the Editor:
I am against limiting yard sales in Bradley County to two weekends in a sixty day period. I do not want any of Bradley County property owner's property rights taken away from us!
The constables know where the yard sales are being conducted full time. The people that are causing the problem should be told they cannot have a continuous yard sale unless they have a business license. The Bradley County Court Clerk should call and see if a person having a full time yard sale is eligible to get a business license.
When I found out about the complaint of an ongoing yard sale in the Hope Subdivision, I went to the Bradley County Court Clerk and she had an employee call to find out if they were eligible to get a business license. The offending party indicated they were not eligible and that they were not having a yard sale all the time and that they were taking the tent down.
Let's go after the offenders and not all of the Bradley County property tax payers.
