We the People
Dear Editor
In this time of Big Business vs. We The People, many of our American Citizens are feeling betrayed by their own government's actions. In my opinion the big SCAM is coming to an end, and some government officials are jumping over one another to get off the sinking ship, while others are clinging to the bow as it is going under. While all this action is being played out, We The People are listening to debates from Presidential Hopefuls who think beginning their campaigns two years before election time will win them the Golden Egg. Not surprisingly, the We The People are already tired of the campaigning debates and wish our Hopefuls would realize, We The People feel they are beating a dead horse.
In watching our ineffectual Congress trying to pass non-binding resolutions to increase their popularity is not winning support of We The People. The Executive Branch of our government vetoing bills, is not rebuilding faith in the Republican Party. Congressmen and women who are supported by lobbyists are not being a role model for the future Congress People of our nation. Allowing We the People to be poisoned, our pets and our children, for profits of giant corporations is opening the eyes of We The People to the enormous impact of Economic Globalization. Loss of American jobs, insurance, and property is opening the eyes of We The People to business practices of Economic Globalization. Illegal aliens running amuck in our country, protesting in our streets, men who are trying to enforce the laws of our borders being imprisoned, churches flagrantly hiding and abetting illegal aliens, and a federal government refusing to do anything to solve the problem, is an eye opening experience for We The People, to the problems of Economic Globalization.
Our country was built from people who were willing to go the extra mile, from people who had the foresight to raise taxes for the betterment of citizens lives, and from people who were not afraid to stand against those that oppressed them. Now our own countrymen and women are the oppressors. Our tax dollars are being used indiscriminately . We The People seem to have NO VOICE in how our tax dollars are being used. Who are the recipients of billions of tax dollars? Two companies who seem to be profiting from our tax dollars are Halliburton and Blackwater . We the People's senators do not know how many people are on the payrolls of American tax dollars. Our nation's comptroller can't answer questions put to them by our Senators, but have to look the information up and get back to them. Have you, We The People, noticed no one who is questioned by our Congress gives clear and concise answers to questions We the People ask? Do you ever ask yourself, "Why? What are they hiding? Why don't they give a clear and concise answer? Where is the accountability to We The People?
Is it too late for We The People to Save our Country? Is it too late for us to pull together and plant our feet in OUR soil and say, "This is enough damage you have done to our country." When our government employees: Congress, the Executive Branch, and our Judicial branch, find PINK SLIPS in their mailboxes, will they finally realize We The People voices will finally be heard?
I am sure you feel as I do, because most of We The People are sharing the same boat, that our obligations to saving our country is to remove those who work for or accept ,"gifts" from the lobbyists. Remove those who commit crimes from our government. Remove those who support outsourcing jobs. Remove those who do not support programs that would enhance the lives of We The People. Remove those who have "personal interests" in Corporate America. Remove those who lie or refuse to answer questions to We the People. Remove those who won't solve the illegal alien problem. Remove those who want to sell our country piece by piece to foreign corporations. Remove those who are not supporting our troops and are allowing them to be killed or irreparably hurt. Remove those who don't support health care for all of We the People, independent of income.
Your voice can be heard, we can join forces and as We the People, we can save our country. But the main question is, "are you willing to stop voting for those you know are not representing We the People?" Tell your presidential candidates you will not vote for those who will not be open and accountable to We the People.
