While reading in The People News "what do you think" articles,I decided to answer as follows. According to the center for immigration studies in Washington, one in three immigrants coming to America are illegal. Since 2000 this was the highest seven year period in American history for illegal aliens entering America. Of adults, 31% have not completed high school, 51% of illegal head of household use at least one welfare program. The poverty rate for illegals and their anchor babies is 17%,50% higher than native born Americans.34% lack health insurance which accounts for 71% of the increase in uninsured in the U.S. Now for Taylor and the school board who only know one answer, MORE MONEY. Illegal aliens account for virtually all of the national increase in public school enrollment over the past two decades. In 2007 there were 10.8 million school age children from illegals in the U.S. The CIS also states that after two decades they will still be at or below poverty level, which means that the chamber of commerce who wants cheap labor for more profit will continue to control your politicians unless you the voter stop it. You will continue to pick up the tab with higher taxes to pay for more schools, welfare, food stamps, subsidized housing. The chamber of commerce owns your politicians, not you. The power of the VOTE can stop this if you use it wisely.
