Cranberry Salad
1 package raw cranberries
2 navel oranges (grind the whole orange)
1 ½ cups sugar
2 small boxes of lemon Jell-O
3 ½ cups boiling water
1 cup chopped pecans
1 ½ cups finely chopped celery
Grind up and mix well cranberries and oranges, add sugar; let set until sugar is melted. In a smaller bowl mix well the boiling water and 2 boxes of Jell-O. Next put the Jell-O in with the cranberries and stir well. Add chopped celery and nuts, stir well and refrigerate until set.

Top Fudge
1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 ½ cups milk chocolate morsels
Melt both chocolates in a medium bowl in the microwave, try 30 seconds, stir and a few more seconds if needed. Stir in 1 can sweetened condensed milk, plus 1/3 cup powdered sugar, stir well. Quickly add 2 tsp. Vanilla and 1 cup chopped walnuts. Stir well and put into buttered 8 x 8 glass dish or pan. Chill, then cut into small squares, very tasty, easy and also freezes well.

Soft Molasses Cookies
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup sour cream
1/2 cup margarine or butter, soft
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup molasses
1 egg
3 cups flour
1 ½ tsp. Baking soda
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1-tsp. ground ginger
1/2 salt
Heat oven 375D. In large bowl mix sugar, sour cream, butter, molasses, shortening and egg; mix until smooth. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop dough by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 9-11 minutes Cool slightly before removing; sprinkle with sugar if desired. Yield about 4 dozen
