Please join me in voting to re-elect President Obama. I'll be honest, I did not vote for him in the last election. Back then, I thought he would be prone to increase government give-a-ways, which I was against. Since I was 14, I have always had a job and worked hard to get what I have. Up until the time I retired at 61, I was still working 55-60 hours per week. Out of what I made, I paid my taxes and my health insurance. I bought a home and paid for it with no assistance from anyone. Years ago when I was in school, even though we couldn't even afford a car, my parents always scraped up enough money to pay for my lunch at school. I was raised in a two bedroom, one bath frame house that my father worked 55-60 hours a week to pay for. I guess you could say I come from a family, though economically challenged, that paid for what we had.
Well, I'm now old and tired. And I was right: President Obama has increased give-a-ways, but I've finally realized working hard is for the birds, and I need to get in on a good thing. I've worked all of my life, and it is time for me to sit back and let somebody take care of me for a change. After looking at President Obama's record over the past four years, I have decided to vote for him since he will take good care of me. The only thing that worries me is I might be a victim of euthanasia if I get really sick, but other than that, I think he will treat me really good.
