Trying to understand
Dear editor
I am responding to the article by Linda Moore, when she mentioned pet projects "pilfering away hospital money," it caught my eye. I have applied for disability and have been waiting for 3 years. I have no insurance. I have also been to the animal shelter recently. I was wondering if Linda has? 6000 dogs alone, (this is not including cats), die there each year, so there certainly are not any "pet projects" they're taking money from HealthCare. I am just wondering what she is referring to. More assistance is needed for people like me who can't get health insurance, and more assistance is also needed for animals who are euthanized because there is not enough funding for their situation either. I don't see how these 2 things are related, so I was just trying to understand.
Respectfully,
Kay Ramsey, Cleveland
