Letter to the Editor:

The FairTax "pre-bate" un-taxes the poor. FairTax assures every worker in America gets their full salary with NO FEDERAL TAXES DEDUCTED.

No more federal income or payroll tax deductions, including no FICA, no Medicare. Everyone gets their entire salary to spend. Federal taxes are only paid when you spend on NEW goods or services. With FairTax the poor never have to pay tax on their living needs. Every month all legal households receive a prepaid rebate [pre-bate] to pay taxes on purchases up to the poverty level. A single parent with two kids will be pre-bated $374 and a couple with two, $595. ALL pay federal tax ONLY on spending, NONE on income.

FairTax is non-partisan, not liberal or conservative, not Democrat or Republican. FairTax is progressive. There is no tax on annual family of four spending up to $31,020. Same family spending up to $46,530 pays 7.7%, the same as we all now pay for FICA/Medicare alone. End the political class' control of our lives.
