Letter To The Editor:
To Ann Coulter: In reference to your article in The People News Vol. 7 issue 3 for April titled The Democrats Choose Wrong Again. I want to commend you on your attempt to assassinate John Kerry. You also did a pretty good job on trying to destroy his character. But honey Mr. Bush can't point his finger at no one for he hasn't been no saint. You see Mr. Bush was a stone drunk until he was 40 years old. And he lived off daddy's money and daddy's friends money. You see he has a DUI on his record but of course all the tickets he got in Texas daddy took care of them. Also it's been said that he was busted for Cocaine but the judge he went before was one that daddy helped get elected and a little bit of pocket change the judge just gave him so many hours of community service and took the charge off the record but it's still on the record he had to do so many hours of community service the record just doesn't say why he had to do it. Now if you will check his business adventure record you'll see he always used his daddy's friends money and also check how many times his business went down the drain, more times than once while using friends money. Now John Kerry joined the U.S. Navy and went to Vietnam there he put his own life on the line in order to save another person's life and he has the medals to prove it. George. W. Bush joined the Texas Air National Guard to keep from going to Vietnam. His daddy got George. W. Bush application for the Texas Air National Guard pushed ahead of 500 other men waiting to be accepted for the Texas Air National Guard. You see the air planes that the Texas Air National Guard were using were not being used in Vietnam. Then George. W. Bush got transferred to Alabama so he could campaign for a Senator that was a friend of his father. Then he didn't show up for duty for 8 months, now in the military if you don't show up for duty for 30 days you are classified as AWOL now after 30 days you are classified as a deserter.
Now it's been said that President Clinton lied and did the most immoral thing and that's true he did, but the proof is absolute, irrefutable, uncontrovertible, and incontestable that George. W. Bush, Richard Cheney, Colin Powell, Donald Rumsfelt, Condelezza Rice, and Paul Wolfowitz all lied on one or many occasions in reporting on Iraq's weapons. Had they said they believed Iraq had these weapons or that it was reported to them that Iraq had these weapons, their statements might have reflected poorly on their gullibility, or their sources, but would not have branded them as liars. But they choose not to make conditional statements. Instead each of them flat out told everyone who would listen that they knew for a fact that Iraq had these weapons and that they constituted an overwhelming threat to the safety of the American people. Some, such as Rumsfelt and Powell even went so far as to assert that they knew exactly where these weapons were located and what quantity there was. They didn't know this, they knew they didn't know this, yet they said so anyhow. That my friend, is a classic example of a lie -- saying something is a fact when you know that it isn't, or know that you don't know for sure.
Now don't go excusing these lies by saying oh well we got rid of Saddam that is not what he told congress we wanted to go for war for, he told the Congress that he wanted to go to war to rid Iraq of these mass destruction weapons. But, after having been caught in their lies has there been a single step taken by George W., Dick, Colin, Don, Condie, to make amends? No, no, no, a thousand times NO! Not one has followed the course or honor and resigned. Not one has even apologized for his lies. Not one has even admitted his lies. There is just no honor in this administration. But they do come up with a new excuse everyday for the useless lost over 600 American lives. So now Ann Coulter I hope you sleep well and dream of the great men and women who has given their all because of Bush's lies. So honor him greatly.
Claude T. Wallace.
