May Second of this year is the 400th Anniversary of the publishing of the King James Bible, England's greatest gift to the world. International celebrations will commemorate with honor to its production. Who can number the good that has come from the King James Version, the poetry and passion, account of Creation, and the eternal soul? Only the Bible reveals the Trinity of God and man, for it is inspired. From the time when George Washington laid his hands on it, kissed it, laid hold of its Promises, elected leaders have been blessed or cursed because of their actions regarding this Sacred Oath on this Canon.

Consider another Cannon, fired at Antietam and seven other Civil War battles, and lo, it is marked on the barrel with the word, James. What similarities bear these two attorneys named James, able Defenders or Prosecutors. By these lawyers, come definitions of sins, trespasses, infractions and their punishments and rewards. By these come songs and hymns, such as "Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition," "Onward, Christian Soldiers," "Hold the Fort!" An unnumbered multitude of hymns and spiritual songs were drawn from the inspired word of the Advocate of the King James Version and its Canonical authority. What other book provokes such beauty and utterance! From these words, soldiers have been protected by the promises and production of the James' brothers. Psalm 91 alone, the Soldier's Psalm, brought to bear the cannonfire of God's blessings and Providence.

Reminded of the 32,000 Promises written in the Bible, those "Standing on the Promises" have found their souls and their nation redeemed by its Saviour. By this Word, Parents and Grandparents have held their children up to the Almighty to preserve, heal, protect and secure their souls to heaven. By this Power, Ethan Allen declared at Ticonderoga: "I demand the surrender of this fort in the Name of Jehovah and the Continental Congress!" By the Power of these great persuasive attorneys, civilized people have been dedicated as babies, baptized, lived, died, and been buried, awaiting the resurrection promised by God's Word. Ruled by the precepts and statutes of the canon, backed up by the cannon, liberty has been made accessible to all who will live and die for it.

A bloody field? Absolutely. How many have suffered to procure the distribution of this work of Divine Art? Missionaries testify to the resistance by pagan and heathen leaders, yet their people are brought to civilization by such enforcement and hope. How many desperate and sinful souls lift up a Gideon Bible in a motel, only to find quickening truth and salvation waiting them in these golden words, whose spirits are quickened by the Spirit of Almighty God and literally plucked out of the burning of defeat and ensuing hell!

Higher learning, businesses, Declarations of Rights and Independence, laboring men, burdened wives, prisoner and free find in the Comforter of Canon and Cannon, the reality of future rewards and punishments, meted out by the Divine Justice and Providence of Almighty God. Liberties and Rights recognized by such as Harry S Truman, former President of the United States: "The fundamental basis of this nation's law was given to Moses on the mount. The fundamental basis of our Bill of Rights comes from the teachings which we get from Exodus and St. Matthew, from Isaiah and St. Paul. I don't think we emphasize that enough these days.

"If we don't have the proper fundamental moral background, we will finally wind up with a totalitarian government which does not believe in rights for anybody except the State." (Address to Attorney Generals' Conferences on Law Enforcement, Washington, DC, February 15, 1950.)

Furthermore, wealth, substance, inventions - all have been its product. Wherever civilization has rested, its supporting evidence has been the Great Voice of these Attorneys. And though its detractors and skeptics have spent their entire lives to disprove their reality, power and omnipotence, yet they have failed, for in the fiber of our history and expression, Almighty God lifts up His Hand to Heaven and states emphatically, "I live forever."

Countrymen, keep your powder dry! The devil's lawyers fear these Divine Adversaries, and cry, "Peace," hoping we will surrender. Never!

Thank you, England, thank you, Translators! But what, England? Have you forgotten your old Friend?
