2014 Elections kicked off this Spring with local government primaries, which will be followed by local general and state elections in the summer and ending with the most important, U.S. mid-term elections in November. Any good, law abiding American citizen who genuinely cares about the future of the United States will make sure they are registered to vote because many feel the urgent need to protect the precious freedoms and values that made this country so unique.

Over the past several years government has grown way out of control, ignoring the US Constitution as well as the rights and liberties inherited from our founding fathers. Fortunately, unlike the mainstream media would like us to believe, there are millions upon millions of educated citizens across the entire nation that are genuinely concerned, realizing that current Congressional politicians whether Democrat or Republican are all the same and no longer represent the people. People are abandoning political parties they belonged to for many years in search of independent alternatives in the hope of nominating and electing political candidates that have more or less the same values and platforms they were once accustomed to.

Since the success of the TEA Party, Americans have seen that they are not alone in their thoughts and opinions and numerous other Conservative organizations are rapidly gaining popularity.

Most people today now have the opportunity to choose their news sources on the Internet, not only from political news websites but from apps on their Smartphones and iPads or through the social media like Facebook or Twitter, where they can interact by 'liking' or 'following.'

On Facebook alone, people are receiving regular up to date news feeds from non profit political organizations like Citizens United. Citizensunited.org which has over 248,453 likes, is an organization "dedicated to restoring our government to citizens' control. Through a combination of education, advocacy, and grass roots organization, seeking to reassert the traditional American values of limited government, freedom of enterprise, strong families, and national sovereignty and security. Their goal is to restore the founding fathers' vision of a free nation, guided by the honesty, common sense, and good will of its citizens." There are many other organizations like this with similar missions and goals including: Halt the Assault, halttheassault.com, with over 125,048 likes; Don't Put it on Our Tab, ourtab.org, over 350,279 likes; SpendingRevolt.com, over 46,860 likes; AmericansForFreedom.org over 33,139 likes; or AmericanActionNetwork.org, 256,156 likes. These are just a few of many Conservative news and information sources out there that are being liked, followed, and growing by the day.

In fact, one could say that it is the minority Liberal mainstream media that is losing power and popularity not the TEA Party and other alternative Conservative Political organizations.
