American institutions previous to the 1960's were somewhat of a mainstay, pillars of stability and common sense. While it is true that the majority were enjoying the peace which the Atomic Bomb bought for us in putting a deserved end to the attack on Pearl Harbor, yet many of these good folk forgot that enemies still lurked in the universities and entertainment cells. Disney's animals were chief fascinations and Hollywood danced its destructive sambas while preachers warned that the serpent was not quite dead yet.
According to one of today's best historians, David Barton, it was Senator Lyndon Johnson in 1954 who silenced churches with conditional 501-c-3 tax provisions. Rumor still prevails that the female atheist who took prayer and Bible reading out of the schools was helped along to her slaughter by one of Lyndon Johnson's Texas radio stations. What a nice Democrat! What kind of Democrat was he?
Harry S Truman, in his address to the Attorney General's Conference on Law Enforcement in 1950, stated: "The fundamental basis of this nation's law was given to Moses on the mount. The fundamental basis of our Bill of Rights comes from the teachings which we get from Exodus and St. Matthew, from Isaiah and St. Paul. I don't think we emphasize that enough these days. If we don't have the proper fundamental moral background, we will finally wind up with a totalitarian government which does not believe in rights for anybody except the State." What kind of Democrat was he?
And strangely enough, today's Democrat pick for President holds the same alarming political positions as that reiterated on the web site for the Communist Party USA. Declared Communists who cast the administration of the President in a bad light as against Clinton's shameless pink glow does make you wonder. What kind of Democrat was Impeached-President Bill Clinton?
Elected Tennessee leadership abounds with good examples of Harry Truman Democrats. These good men still hold to the Bill of Rights which Harry Truman upheld. They know instinctively what the Bill of Rights stands for and that Party affiliations now give them a headache because of their Disney University offspring. Knowing not what to do, they are astonished at the treatment rendered to Alabama's Chief Magistrate Roy Moore by today's dark Democrats.
To settle the issue, whether Republicans or Democrats, let Patrick Henry, James Madison and Henry's sister, Elizabeth, blessor of James Madison, be the Court of Appeals. Which Democratic -Republican will contend for the raw implementation of the Bill of Rights and prosecute ACLU lawyers for sedition against their violation of their oaths and travesty against the Bill of Rights?
Tennessee Democrat, what kind of Democrat are you? A ten-planks' Democrat or a Ten Commandments' Democrat? We know whose Lawyer will prevail.
