We're at war! Not in Afghanistan, Iraq, or Iran, we are at war in America. The Iranian's and the Taliban  don't need to worry about destroying us, because we are going to destroy ourselves. I read the  Chattanooga Times Free Press every morning and for the past couple of years, almost everyday there is a report of a gang shooting in Chattanooga. In the last few months, at least weekly there is an even more disturbing account every week about inmates and guards being assaulted and killed in nearby Hays State Prison in Trion, Georgia. To beat all, inmates at Hays State are also using cell phones to extort money from people on the outside! Last week on a school bus in Ooltewah, a middle school student was beaten into unconsciousness after he stood up to a bully. I just thank God we have not had our school shooting here - yet.

Today on Fox News, I heard the father of a little boy who was slaughtered in the Sandy Hook School massacre speak about the tragedy. He said that we do not need any more laws, nor does he want a new law passed with his sons name on it. He said we need to enforce the laws we already have, and hold people accountable for their actions. No doubt what this distraught father said in a few minutes makes more sense that what Congress would come up with in six months of debate and gridlock.

America is truly on the verge of being out of control. We have become so intent in making sure every person or special interest group with an agenda gets their way, along with providing entitlement for millions of able bodied people who choose not to work, our country is going down the toilet - both financially and morally!

America trying to take care of the rest of the world is akin to a poor, broke widow woman with six kids taking six more in when she can't afford to feed the first six. Cut off all foreign aid and rebuild America. Bring the troops home and use them to enforce order in our streets, schools and prisons. And most importantly, let God out of exile so he can come back to America!
