Genesis 1:26-27 (NIV) - "Then God said, 'Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them."
God created man.
It seems simple enough. Unfortunately, it is a point of great confusion. Where does the confusion stem from? It comes from our rebellion. We do not want to be subject to anyone or anything so in order to attempt to throw off any constraints; we try to remake God into what we want Him to be even to the point of denying that He exists.
I find gravity to be a great nuisance. Its constant pulling to the earth is very restrictive. It causes me to be limited in where I can go. It also tires me out due to the weight that I have to carry because of it. I have decided that there is no such thing as gravity and therefore I refuse to be subject to it any longer. I will build a community of like-minded people who share in my new found freedom. We will not tolerate nor even entertain the possibility that gravity

exists. We will drive the teachings of Sir Isaac Newton from our schools and Universities. He and anyone who buys into the very notion or concept of gravity must be silenced. They are ignorant and simple minded.
We live in a democracy. If I can convince enough people to believe like I do we shall vote gravity down. After-all, a simple majority can mandate what truth is regardless of the facts. The truth is what we make it to be. "We" being those who have most letters behind our names and can argue any apologist no matter the strength of their conviction, into submission.
It will be OUR WILL, OUR AGENDA, and OUR INTELLECT that will be the final argument.
Gravity does not exist or if it does, we shall make it into our image.
Who can argue that gravity exists? Can you show me gravity? If I scream at the top of my lungs and dare gravity to show itself, will it appear?

When God created us, He gave us one command. We were not to eat the fruit of one tree. We had complete and total freedom other than that one simple restraint.
Why did Adam stand passively by as his wife was deceived? Did he grow weary of God's one law? Why did he take of the forbidden fruit?
How could he have so easily forgotten who created him? Did he not realize that he the creation was, by rebelling, directly challenging the very being that had created him?
When did he loose his sight? Obviously his eyes could not perceive all that surrounded him. His act of defiance towards the architect of the very paradise that was his environment seems so foolish and blind in retrospect.
Unfortunately, we, Adam's descendants have timelessly proven that "the apple does not fall far from the tree"
