her. The result was that it has shown the weak links in those who claim to be so true to their Christianity. Let's call them RA, CP, JM. I am sorry but gossiping about others is not being very gracious with your faith. After all, dogging the very people you sit next to in the pews of the churches! Now that puts the word Hypocrite right to the top of the stove. Oh, how lovely it is to smile at the person you are condemning for believing in the very God that we all share.
You see "J" doesn't want to understand anyone else's beliefs or religion. She thinks her religious decision is the only one that exists. There is so many different faiths that I cannot even begin to describe them all. That's like saying: (example only OK) That being a Baptist is better than being a Methodist or being a Pentecostal or even a Greek Orthodox... how about Zen or a Buddist. What about the Jewish or the Church of God. Sorry to burst "J's" bubble but one being better than the other is not what it is about. It is about being a better Christian, that is striving to be Christ-like. Even though you will never reach that goal it is none the less the effort put forth into that. Who knows, maybe she'll grow up, have a little "real faith", follow the commandment of HONORING THY MOTHER. Maybe next time she lets her son watch Harry Potter he'll ask for the new Nimbus 2004 broom to help her come to grips with owning her own broom. You do have one in the Kitchen... don't you "J". ((chuckling to myself)).
NEVER WANTED TO BE QUEEN
A friend of mine recently decided to change work positions. So she stepped down from being a pet grooming manager of a local pet company located across from the mall. She just wanted more time for her family. Those type of companies feel that if you are a manager you owe them your life for no extra pay. Then she really thought about how they treat people and she is one of the nicest people I have ever met. She doesn't need to be mean or crass or whatever anyone else thinks that business requires. She believes in being professional but also in being very courteous, so decided that she would turn in her notice because things just didn't feel right anymore. Rather than talk to her in person to see what they could do to better her job and make her want to stay, they called her by cell phone. I know, because I called the number back to see who it was. ((gotcha on that one)). Anyway, what they decided to do because she had turned in her notice was fire her. The grounds... well there wasn't any... they were so afraid of her contacting customers and telling them she was gone. You know I think they jumped the gun a bit. If they were so great of a company then they wouldn't have to worry about that. They panic and show greed.
Now, as a business owner I understand you don't want your customers to go somewhere else, but it is the people who work for you that make your business what it is.
Since they were doing the "Bruce almighty" thing, I will tell you where to find her. She is now the proud owner of her own. ADRIENNES K-STYLES located at GREAT DOGGIE DOO'S on MIMOSA DR. near Duracell. They have Doggie day care, grooming services that are less expensive yet more for the money. Why they even have self service bays for those who wish to do it themselves. Good luck my friend, may the New year bring you much success.
ANGELS & THINGS IN-BETWEEN
I don't really remember what I wanted to say here. But I do know that for those of you who are true light workers from the heavens will understand the need to have shared the stories above. It is wonderful when someone who needs something asks for help, receives it, and is thankful that someone was there to respond. There is all too often people who don't want to exclaim their true spiritualness. I myself have no problem with it. I enjoy challenging and compelling conversations because that is how we learn.
Read when you can, for all books contain knowledge. Even if it just gives you more to bite on or question enough to find suitable answers. You know the most asked question in my shoppe has been, "when did you know you were a gifted artist". I can only laugh for I have to answer ""When have I ever known I wasn't"". The second question is usually "how do you find all this stuff ". I can only reply "well when I walk by it if it talks to me I have to have it because I know someone else is looking for it and they will find it here."
I offer a place of no crossroads, no stop signs, no condemnation for anything that anyone believes or does. That is not my place, that is God's. For I do not judge what you believe and every faith is honored in my shoppe. Respectfully to each other.
We have recently had two litters of Siberian Huskies that are warm and beautiful and my shoppe and my soul are both as those puppies, innocent and true. Our puppies are friendly and will go to great homes because they have beautiful spirits as well. They don't have that ""kennel"" smell because we allow them to be born in a natural setting as opposed to a caged one. This makes them open and free as opposed to shy and timid. People should look at that when they are raising their children now-days.
Well I better sum this one up real quick. I think I am a day behind for the editor.
The moral to these stories are that unless you can say a goat is a goat, then you shouldn't state it. If you let your kids or yourself for that matter, watch Harry Potter or Charmed or any of the other Buffey the Vampire Slayer, or even Lion king and then condemn others for watching it. I mean how many orangutans walk around saying "acouna matata"
Don't stand in the isle of the church bad mouthing someone else for the very thing you want to do yourself, especially when they are two pews away. It is usually the case where someone else can do what somebody else wants to do but nobody will let them because everybody thinks its wrong because they are all so dog gone unhappy with their lives. GEEZA PEAS guys lets get life on track.
I will finalize this with a article that was in a paper a few years back.:
This is a story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done & Everybody was sure Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it. But Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.
In others words get the wax out of your ears and hear what is being said but also listen to what is being said ... there is a difference you know.
