Things You Didn't Know
That You Didn't Know

I wonder

I wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phones?
What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?
What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?
What if we flipped through it several times a day?
What if we used it to receive messages from the text?
What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?
What if we gave it to kids as gifts?
What if we used it as we traveled?
What if we used it in case of an emergency?
What if we upgraded it to get the latest version?
This is something to make you go...hmmm...where is my Bible?
Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don't ever have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus  has already paid the bill!

Cussing

A 6 year-old tells his 4 year-old brother "You know what? I think it's about time we started cussing." The 4 Year-old nods his head in approval. "When we go downstairs for breakfast, I'm gonna say something with 'hell' and you say something with 'butt' ok?" The 4 year-old agrees with enthusiasm. When their mother walks into the kitchen and asks the 6 year-old what he wants for breakfast, he replies,
"Aw hell Mom, I guess I'll have some Cheerios." WHACK!!! He flies out of his chair, tumbles across the kitchen floor, gets up, and runs upstairs crying his
eyes out with his mother in hot pursuit, slapping his rear with every step. She locks him in his room and shouts, "You can stay in there until I let you out." -- She then comes back downstairs, looks at the 4 year-old and asks with a stern voice, "And what do YOU want for breakfast, young man?"
"I don't know, but you can bet your fat butt it won't be Cheerios."
